For this project, I painted the window display of Heemskerk Tandartsen, creating a Droste effect where the artwork hangs inside the very window it depicts. Look closely, and you can even see my own reflection captured in the glass while taking the photo.
The series developed organically over time. I initially started working on a small scale. Upon learning that the work would be displayed at the practice, I scaled the concept up to a medium size, before finally completing the large-scale painting of the front window display.
This series is currently featured in the Etalage Kunstroute Heemskerk 2026.
