This year, I came across the Inktober 2020 challenge on social media and decided to join. Inktober is a drawing challenge with a new prompt for each day of October.
I had tried it before in 2017 but quit halfway through due to a family holiday. It always bothered me that I didn’t finish, and my mom keeps reminding me that I never finish anything. So this time, I wanted to change that.
As a media designer, I could shape things digitally, but not the ideas in my mind. To do that, I needed to get better at drawing.
Now I’m turning my sketchbooks digital to map how I became an artist through all my insecurities, fears, and doubts.
I hope you enjoy the drawings!
